Tony Hawk's Underground 2, the sixth installment in the Tony's skateboarding video game series, is a skating game. Developed by Neversoft and published by Activision, the game was released on October 4, 2004 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, Microsoft Windows, and Game Boy Advance. There are two main types of skateboarding games, one for the more casual crowd and one for more experienced skateboarders.
Players skate in a 3D environment, usually on objects or performing a combination of tricks. The scores are calculated by adding up the point values of tricks strung together and multiplying by the number of tricks in the combo. There are also new characters and vehicles. There are also more than 80 levels, which makes the game an excellent one for casual skateboarders alike. Although Tony Hawk's Underground 2 doesn't have as many levels as its predecessor, players can create their own custom skateboards, which they can then sell for money in the market.
