Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 is a skateboarding video game. It is the third game in the Tony Hawk's series, and it is about skateboarding. It was made by Neversoft and released by Activision in 2001 for the PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Game Boy Color, and GameCube. It was called Activision O2 at the time. A lot of different consoles were able to play the game in 2002. It was released for the Xbox, Game Boy Advance, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo 64 (the last game to be released on the console because it had been discontinued 3 1/2 months before), and Mac OS. People in North America got their hands on it when the PlayStation 2 came out. It was the first game that allowed people to play online.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 was well-received by critics, with the PlayStation 2 version tied for the best PlayStation 2 game on Metacritic.
